My Time Machine Entry

Finished my entry for EBW april chalenge . It is dark and cloudy today and as my piece is achromatic - grey and black , I can't shoot it good enough. Hopefully tomorrow comes with sun and brightness, so I can finally list it.
I'm gonna name it The Drops Of Time..
It's made using mix of techniques and beads, obsidian chips and vintage button.

Let's hope for sun tomorrow!

As Simply As Possible

Three days and three nights I've been peyoting this bracelet and not sure was it well or was it stupid thing to do. Used this basic technique and one kind and color of beads, so the result is a struggle to me. Beads were not perfect and the whole look of this piece is uneven, but somehow I like it, because it shows the rough and rustic side of the beadweaving.


Well, customers are the best judges, so I finally listed it.

Wild night

Wild night at the Latvian Academy Of Arts.. Carnival night..
My son wrote me list with things I'm allowed and not supposed to do:
* Be home when they wake up;
* Don't kiss strangers;
* Bring sweets;
* Applause only when daddy is playing;
* Don't run around and misbehave..

And off we go!

I don't remember when was the last time I left kids with the nanny whole night.. But it was so worth it! Music, masks, fun, my love.. I feel young and inspired again and been smiling whole week since then.So there is advise -

don't you never ever forget about yourself and the ones you love!

Shades Of Green

Finally I've finished my beaded necklace. It turned out very eclectic and has all kind of green beads I had gathered for a long time.. Anyway I love the starry and unpractical feel to it, because it is made for some tiny beautiful princess I know :)
